Terms of service

In force since March 2, 2026. These terms govern every BinderRenew subscription, whether your agency runs one seat or six locations.

1. Acceptance

These terms form the contract between your agency and MLJ, SASU, the company that publishes BinderRenew. You accept them when you open an account, when you submit the request form on the home page, or when you first use the service. If you accept on behalf of an agency, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that agency. If you do not accept the terms, do not use the service.

2. What the service does

BinderRenew is a web based policy renewal pipeline for independent property and casualty insurance agencies in the United States. It imports a policy list from your agency management system, sorts policies into dated renewal rails, raises expiration and rate change alerts, records remarket and rewrite activity, logs client touches, and produces retention reporting by line, carrier and producer. It is a work management tool. It does not rate, quote, bind, endorse or issue insurance, it does not transmit anything to a carrier, and it is not an agency management system, a comparative rater or a system of record for accounting.

3. Eligibility and accounts

Accounts are for licensed insurance agencies, their producers and their staff. You must be at least eighteen years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the account details you give us, for the security of the credentials issued to your seats, and for everything done under those seats. Tell us promptly at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com if you believe a seat has been compromised. Seats are individual and may not be shared between two people at the same time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BinderRenew to store data you have no right to hold, to contact consumers in a way that breaks the Telephone Consumer Protection Act or any state marketing rule, to reverse engineer or copy the software, to resell access without a written agreement, to probe the service for weaknesses, or to load volumes designed to degrade it for other agencies. You also agree not to upload malicious files or to use the service in a way that breaches your carrier appointments or your state insurance department rules. We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk, and we will tell you why.

5. Subscription and billing

Three plans are offered, all billed monthly in United States dollars: Solo Agent at $39 per month, Agency at $89 per month, and Multi Line at $189 per month. The plan you choose sets your seat count and the depth of reporting available. Prices exclude any sales tax or VAT that applies to your agency, which is added where required. Payment is taken on the same calendar day each month for the month ahead. If a payment fails we retry it and notify the billing contact; if it has not cleared after ten days the account is suspended until it does. There is no setup fee, no per policy charge, no charge for a data export and no minimum term.

6. Changing plans and cancellation

You can move up or down a tier at any time from the billing page. An upgrade takes effect immediately and the difference is prorated on the next invoice; a downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing month. You can cancel at any time without calling us and without a fee. Cancellation stops the next charge and the account stays fully usable until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund part months, except where the law of your state requires it. We may end a subscription with thirty days notice, and if we do we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

7. Your data

Your policy records, client contact details, notes, touch logs and reports remain the property of your agency. We hold them to run the service for you and for no other purpose. We do not sell them, mine them for advertising, or contact your clients. You can export everything as CSV files whenever you like, including during a notice period. After a cancellation we retain the data for thirty days so that a returning agency loses nothing, then delete it from live systems and from backups on the next rotation. Personal information about you and your staff is handled as described in the privacy policy. You confirm that you have the right to load into the service whatever client information you upload.

8. Service availability and support

We target 99.9 percent monthly availability, measured outside announced maintenance windows, which are scheduled at weekends where possible and announced at least forty eight hours ahead. Email support answers within one business day, and Agency and Multi Line subscribers also reach a named contact by phone during United States business hours. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or free of every defect, and we may change features as the product develops, though we will not remove a material capability without notice to active subscribers.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided as it stands. To the fullest extent allowed by law, MLJ, SASU disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. BinderRenew helps you manage renewal work; it does not guarantee that a policy will be retained, that a remarket will produce a better premium, or that any figure published on this website will be repeated at your agency. You remain responsible for your licensing, your carrier obligations and every professional decision you make about a client.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost commission, lost accounts, lost profit or loss of goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service in any twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for willful misconduct, or for anything that cannot be limited under the applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify MLJ, SASU against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from data you loaded that you had no right to load, or from your communications with your clients. We will tell you promptly about any claim, let you take part in the defense, and not settle it without your agreement.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law change. Material changes are emailed to the billing contact at least thirty days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page is updated. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, cancel before the effective date and you will not be charged again.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France. Company identification is published in the legal notice. Questions about this agreement, about an invoice or about a cancellation go to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com and are answered by a person within one business day.
